    What to expect
    • Grades 8 and below: Learn about campus through a student-led tour and receive a Nazareth snack bag during your visit.
    • Grades 9–12: In addition to a student-led tour, we will include our Nazareth admissions presentation. Prior to your visit, we will ask for a list of students and contact information for all those attending.

    Open Houses

    Tailored specifically for high school and transfer students, Nazareth's Open House gives you the opportunity to interact with faculty, staff, and current students while learning more about the major(s) you are interested in, student life, and much more.

    Auditions & Portfolio Reviews

    Music, Theatre & Dance: All applicants must audition or show a portfolio, to be considered for admission and scholarships. Non-majors who’d like to minor or perform in a Nazareth ensemble also must complete an audition or review.

    Art & Design: All applicants for art education, studio art, design, or visual communication & design can complete a portfolio review for scholarship consideration, but it is not required for admission, with the exception of transfer students, who must complete a portfolio review.

    Music Auditions

    8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    Register for your audition and submit the required materials for majors/minors in music, music/business, music composition, music education, music performance, and music therapy. How to submit music material and what to expect.

    Theatre Auditions

    9 – 11 a.m.
    Register for your audition and submit the required materials for theatre arts and theatre design & technology. How to submit theatre material and what to expect.

    Musical Theatre Auditions

    Nazareth is a participant in the Musical Theater Common Pre Screen. All prescreen videos should be uploaded to Nazareth’s Acceptd account by January 15. Nazareth will reach out to schedule an audition and interview if you pass your Pre Screen. Musical Theatre prescreen and audition details.
